From a very young age I’ve had an interest and love for nature. I started with collecting shells, seeds and leaves, followed by taking photographs. Picturing nature is a timeless rendering, a snapshot of the rhythm of seasons. My images are intuitive observations and they encourage exploring my perceptions; “looking at” becomes “looking into.”
It is my intention to give the viewer a sense of the object and the ability to visually feel what is being seen, which is most strongly
reflected in my current “leaf portraits”. What looks like any other dead leaf waiting in the corner of the curb to be washed away, turns into an instance of apprehending the true nature of it.
